Please Don't Rush Me
I may smile. I may laugh. I may look like I’m okay.
But inside, I’m still piecing together a world that changed forever.
Grief isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s silent— a deep heartache that shows up in the quiet moments, when no one’s watching, when a memory catches me off guard.
I don’t need fixing.
Sometimes, I just need someone to sit beside me.
Someone to listen.
Someone who lets me cry without trying to change the tears into something else.
Please don’t rush me. Don’t expect me to “move on.”
I’m learning how to live with this absence, how to carry love and loss side by side.
So, if I seem distant, or quiet, or different than I used to be— just know I’m doing my best.
And more than anything, I just need your kindness.
My book will be available soon.
This is a collection of writings centered around grief, love, loss, and learning how to keep living after life changes forever.
